ALCS - Game 1

Game 1 of the ALCS between the Detroit Tigers and the Oakland A's begins tonight.  Game time is slated for 8:00 in Oakland.  The  starting pitches for tonight's game are: Nate Robertson for the visiting Tigers and Barry Zito for the A's.

Each of these teams would like to get the win tonight to take a 1-0 lead in the best of 7 series.  Winning game 1 would give either team confidence for game 2 but things can easily change as was witnessed in the ALDS between the Tigers and Yankees.  Which ever team has the better and most consistent pitching will win tonight and probably the series.

Over in the National League, the New York Mets will be hosting the St. Louis Cardinals in the first game of the NLCS.  Game 1 will be played tomorrow at 8.

New and Old Stories

I am still working on completing Five Card Stud, my first Smallville fic.  It's coming along but I wish it was moving a little faster.  My hope is to finish it before the end of the month.  If I'm lucky, maybe by the end of this week or the middle of next.

I will also be working on my second Christmas themed Spider-Man story but this time I'll be co-writing it.  Today, I have started work on this project which is entitled, Spider-Man's Wonderful Life.  As you can tell be the title, it will be loosely based on the holiday classic, It's a Wonderful Life.  This Spider-Man version will use movie continuity instead of comic book continuity for the basis of the story.

There will be weekly updates as to the progress of the story and I think it will be one that everyone will enjoy.
