ALCS - Game 3 Results

Kenny Rogers pitched  another scoreless game in the post season, which lead to a 3-0 Tigers victory over the A's.  Yesterday's victory put the Tigers up a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.  A win today by the Tigers will give them their first World Series appearance in 22 years.

Game 3 Summary:  Tigers 3, A's 0

Game 4 of the ALCS will have a first pitch time of 4:30.  The Tigers will send Jeremy Bonderman to the mound while the A's will counter with Dan Haren.

In the National League, the St. Louis Cardinals snapped a 6-6 tie in the ninth inning and won the ballgame 9-6.  The win tied the best of seven series between the Cardinals and Mets at 1-1.  The series shifts over to St. Louis for games 3, 4, and 5.  Game time for tonight's game 3 is 8:00.  Pitching for the Cardinals tonight will be Jeff Suppan and he will be opposed by the Mets' Steve Trachsel.
