World Series - Game 2 Results

Another strong pitching performance by Kenny Rogers helped the Tigers to even the World Series at a game a piece with a 3-1 victory last night.  The Tigers needed a strong performance to make up for the lack lustre one they had the previous night.  Hopefully the Tigers will carry that kind of play over when the Series' shifts to St. Louis for games 3, 4, and 5.

Game Summary:  Tigers 3, Cardinals 1

Tigers notes:  Pitching 8 scoreless innings last night, Kenny Rogers has racked up 23 consecutive scoreless innings in the post season.  He is currently tied for third on the all-time list of consecutive scoreless innings for a post season.  Rogers is 4 innings a way from matching the all- time mark of Christy Mathewson of 27 consecutive scoreless innings.
