I am a very proud Canadian today.  The Canadian men's world junior hockey team beat the Russians for the gold medal.  This is the 3rd year in a row that Team Canada has won this tournament and each time they defeated Russia to win the gold.

Gold Medal Game Results

What made the victory sweeter was that this was the first time in about 10 years that Canada has won the world junior gold in Europe because the tourney was held in Sweden.  My neighbours to the south have something to be happy about as well.  The US team beat Sweden earlier in the day to win the bronze.  It was a good day for North America teams at the world junior hockey tournament but an even better day for me and my fellow Canadians.

If you don't like hockey, then take off, eh, you hoser.

I'll start reading through my stack of comics shortly and hopefully that will inspire me with my next fic, the Valentine's fic for 12 Days.
