This was a very special day and maybe some of you have heard of it.  It goes by many names: Shrove Tuesday, Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday and Paczki Day.  Today goes by these names because it is the last day before the first day of Lent when you fast for the duration of the season until the beginning of Easter.

Some of you may/may not know what a paczki is.  Basicly it's a polish donut and that's what they look like.

If you can get your hands on some, try 'em because they are scrumdidilyumcious.

Nothing new on the story front but I think I'll start working on it sometime next week.

It's now time for all players to report to their respective teams for Spring Training and all the Tigers are in camp now.  I believe the first full squad workout is scheduled for tomorrow.  My boys will be back in action shortly and I can't wait to see 'em.  Next week starts the Spring Training games and as the weeks go by, the rosters will get shortened to 25 and those lucky guys will be on the Major League roster for Opening Day.

I was finally able to watch the first episode of Heroes, which is an excellent show.  I really need to catch up to where they are currently at especially since Stan "The Man" Lee was in last night's episode.
