We are now entering the final week of Spring Training, which means the regular season is getting near.  The Tigers played the Washington Nationals in GL action today.  With 3 runs in the bottom of the ninth, the Tigers came from behind to beat the Nationals 6-5.  Mike Maroth started for the Tigers and gave up 5 runs in 6 innings of work, unfortunately all those runs came in the 5th.  Luckily, Tigers pitching held the Nationals scoreless the rest of the way.

Tigers 6, Nationals 5

Also, the Tigers made their final roster cuts today.  With that done, they have the 25-man roster set and these are the guys that will be at Comerica Park when the Tigers open the season against the Toronto Blue Jays.

I did get to write a little to Cross Border Heroes today, about as much as I did yesterday.  I had other matters to attend to today and I just didn't feel like writing a lot today.  Also, I need a little help from the ole f-list.  I need a name for the curator at the Metropolis Museum.  The provider of the suggestion I use will receive a significant reward.  So, get those names in soon because I'll be using it shortly.
